20 POWERFUL FAITH QUOTES BY ARCHBISHOP BENSON A. IDAHOSA. Faith is not a superstition or an intention; it is action. What you need to succeed is already there. Just lean on God. For your Faith’s sake, God can disappoint the devil.
Life is full of choices but faith in God will affect them all, for Christ can do all things. Living a daily life of absolute faith in God is the only secret to great success.
Faith will move God and man; it will take you through when everything else fails. If you are afraid to do it, it cannot be done. Whatever your situation or circumstance, set your eyes by faith on the Lord, keep looking to Him, and continue looking until the tide turns in your favour. The name “I AM” is like a blank check. Our faith can fill in whatever the Lord is to us personally. Faith does not suspend our sense of good judgment, it reinforces it. With a stone in your hand, the Word in your mouth and faith in your heart, the giant will fall.
Faith in God is the most dynamic force in humanity. If you must succeed you must learn how to take yourself out of conflict and put yourself in confidence. When your language changes, your condition changes.
Faith does not make things easy, it makes things possible. If science says that it can conceive and build, then faith declares that it can believe and create. To practice faith, the first person you must defeat is yourself.
The distance between you and success is the length between your heart and mouth. Fear and anxiety may force you to make a false move, but remember, “Where there is faith, there is no fear.”. Faith is the bricks and mortar with which we build our relationship with God. “Fake it till you make it” Just keep doing it even if it doesn’t yet look like it. Have Faith and just Believe.

Benson Idahosa (Arch Bishop) is Africa’s patriarch of modern day Pentecostalism. The story is told about the encounter between Arch Bishop Benson Idahosa and Aliko Dangote Aliko Dangote was born into a wealthy home in Kano. He got his first degree in Cairo, Egypt.
He had always loved trading, and reports say he hawked sweets even as a primary school child, even though his family was wealthy. Dangote is really a very humble person even by the confessions of people who have interacted with him. But Dangote is not the only hardworking Nigerian. He is not the only humble person around.
He is probably not the most business savvy in Africa. But he is certainly the richest Blackman in the world. His companies employ over 11, 000 people directly – not to mention, distributors, contractors and other vendors who depend on his businesses to thrive.
Dangote is a blessing to humanity. There is no family in Nigeria today that does not have a Dangote product in their home. If it is not sugar, then it is salt or the house you are living in was built with a Dangote Cement. Village life apk download.
Everyone has something to do with his business, so like Job he earns a little off everyone and that is the way to get wealthy. Dangote is the 23rd richest person in the world and is said to be the second most powerful African alive. The question is how did Dangote attain such a height? Yes, you can’ t take away his hard work and business acumen, but that is only the starting point. The answer will not be found in the Forbes Magazine or on Wikipedia.
The answer is in the verse of scripture quoted above: If you are willing and obedient you will eat the good of the land. The Encounter with Idahosa Sometime in the early 90s Dangote had an encounter that set his foot on the path of destiny. Idahosa had some guests TL Osborn, an American pentecostal Evangelist, and his wife, Daisy in Benin who needed to travel back urgently from Benin to Lagos to catch up their flight to the US. Unfortunately by the time the Archbishop took his guests to the airport they were told that the last flight for the day was overbooked and not a single seat was available. As a matter of fact, the passengers have boarded and were about to take off.
Idahosa asked for the plane to be delayed a few minutes and walked to the tarmac where he was allowed to address the passengers. He pleaded with them about the desperate situation of his guests and asked that two persons should donate their seats for his guests to get to Lagos. Everyone in that plane was a Christian. Not one of them batted an eyelid. Some pretended to be asleep, some pretended to be praying and the man of God stood waiting. From the back of the plane, a young man asked the person sitting next to him to get up and together they vacated their seat for the American visitors. Idahosa stopped him in the aisle of the plane and asked, “ Youngman, what is your name and what do you do?” “ My name is Dangote, Aliko Dangote and this is my assistant.
I am a trader, a businessman.” It was there and then, that Papa Idahosa prophesied to him that “ the World will get up for you”. He prayed that God should take his business beyond Africa and bless him beyond measure. Today we see that prophesy manifesting. God destined that blessing for someone seated in that plane that evening. But there was a condition attached to it – Isa 1:19 If you will only let me help you, if you will only obey, then I will make you rich! Dangote ’ s wealth today was not meant for a Christian businessman who was too proud, too fixated in his mind to offer the “ flamboyant man of God”, the “ prosperity preacher” his seat.
My question is, if you were there on that plane, would you have taken the blessing? Read another version of this story on Written by Psalmist Israel. This story of Dangote vs Idahosa story isn’t true and serves no righteous purpose. So who did Bill Gates and the other 21 world richest people stand up for? If the Bible can not convince people of the need for humility and obedience to God, then this type of obviously made up story will not.
To celebrate riches and wealth no matter the source goes contrary to Biblical standards. Gain, wealth and success are not the same thing as godliness.
What is the end of Dangote, Bill Gates, Ophra Winfred etc without Jesus?? We failed to recognise that the world eternal richest man is mentioned in the Bible. No man will ever be as rich as Solomon according to the Bible l, yet we do not use him as our role model. @Abel and all, I do not know the veracity of this information on Dangote and Idahosa.
However, God is clear in scriptures that He will use the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. I believe the Christian to be the wise referred to here. We need this kind of story to establish the efficacy of scripture even in our everyday lives. We may not know the paths towed by Bill Gates and other rich people, but this one should come across as a reminder to all of us. Being born again without being humble adds up to nothing.
Knowing all about Solomon without being prepared to sacrifice like Solomon is pure hoax. If Dangote did it?
And is wealthy today, the more the reason Christians should emulate it to be prosperous. The Bible teaches us that the gospel will get nowhere without prosperity.
We need good, God given money in the church to get God’s work done. God said so Himself.
See Ps 35v27; Zech 1v17. Bless you all. At least you should try to verify source of the story and not to conclude it is not true. The story shared here properly advance the cause of the gospel. If you have a fact to show this is not true just provide it.
Jesus said he that gives a cup of water to a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet reward. A prophet reward includes his proclamation as a result of what someone did for or for the Lord. When Jesus he there is exclusion and one does not need to be a christian to be reach. All that is needed is for you to follow reveal principles and means and you will be rich.
As for the other names you mentioned do not assume you know their story because you may just not have heard how their path crossed with destiny. I also do not see celebration of riches here but celebration of the fulfillment of the word of God. God is God and his word is eternal.
He made an ass to speak and honoring the word of his servant as he said he will do is not a big deal for him to do. @Abel you must know that life is spiritual. Don’t believe all you see is all there is. This is quite a good piece no doubt. But be it as it may, the most important thing in life is to know God and be known by God. Riches is not bad but the way we Christians talk about and give it attention shows we have derailed from salvation God called us to obtain in Christ.
This story is making wave because riches and wealth are attached to it. I would have love it more if the story ended that the man received Christ in addition. The whole world joined together cannot be compared to a single soul won for Christ. This piece is really nice. I learnt a lot from it and also from everyone comments. The lesson of this piece is humility, sacrifice and respect. The Bishop wanted to use his influence as a Man of God,if anyone is too stand up,Everyone expects a Christain to do so,Even though Dangote is muslim,he respected God.
If he is so against Christainity wont stand up for a Man of God.This piece teaches us to do good without selfish interest because God will surely reward us.God blesses us in different ways in his own discretion.God decided to bless Dangote in prosperity direction. God can blesss us in other directions.
Our own opportunities for blessing can come any time and in any direction.,we need to ask God for the grace to say yes to him everday and blessings will not pass. D difference between a celebrated man and an ordinary man is that he said yes at the appropriate. It is only the Grace of God that help us to recognize opportunities unconciously or consciously. This piece is really nice.

D difference between a celebrated man and an ordinary man is that he said yes at the appropriate time. It is only the Grace of God that helps us to recognize opportunities unconciously or consciously. This act of Dangote is actually an act of generosity. He was generous with d little he had and God gave him plenty. He was ready to sacrifice his bussiness endeavour for the men of God so God blessed his bussiness. He stood up for the men Of God. Now God has made the world to stand up for him.God did for him what he did for the Men of God an even more because God does us good than we merit. LETS THANK GOD FOR GOD. I first heard of this story from my pastor in church one Sunday, and it greatly inspired me. I believed it then, and reading it here today has even strengthen my faith further.
I believe the hand of God rested on the Arch Bishop to do wonders even as he did his servants Elijah, Elisha, Daniel, Paul and the rest. Our God is no respecter of person. He honors the words of his true servants with sounds and wonders following. By the word of the Arch Bishop the whole World has heard about Aliko Dangote today. However those who are stay in doubt and do not belief this story, you are blessed that Dangote is stay alive today. Why not verify your queries before he is no more?

Benson Andrew Idahosa is the founder of Benson Idahosa University (BIU) in Benin city, Edo state, Nigeria.
On September 11, 1938 in Benin City, Nigeria, Benson Andrew Idahosa was born to pagan parents. In his infancy, he fell in and out of sickness and was dumped on a refuse to die upon strong demands of his father when he was just 18 months old. Later, he was sent away by his father to work in a farm as a servant and as result did get the opportunity to enjoy education until he was 14 years old; a very irregular education that was due to the financial status of his parents. When he grew older, he took certain courses from Britain and USA while working in Bata Shoe Company. During a football game one Sunday, he got converted by Pastor Okpo and became very zealous in soul winning and village outreaches. In a night vision, the presence of the Lord filled his room and a voice spoke from Heaven to him, calling him to spread the Gospel around the world and that he will be backed by signs and wonders.
To this he replied that he was willed and stayed up all night praying, renewing his vows to the Lord and interceding for souls yet to be touched by the message of Salvation. He moved into ministry work afterwards, preaching from village to village and more souls were won for Christ as well as the sick were healed. Before 1971, he has founded the Church of God Mission International Incorporated making its headquarters in Benin City, Nigeria and had established over 6,000 churches in Nigeria and Ghana with each having huge congregations. He also established a Television ministry viz the Redemption Television Ministry. He was the president of All Nations for Christ Bible Institute, Idahosa World Outreach and Faith Medical Centre. He also held positions in numerous organizations like the College of Bishops of the International Communion of Christian Churches and Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma as well as the Archbishop of Church of God Mission.
Archbishop Benson Idahosa earned a lot of degrees and a diploma in his lifetime showing his success both in Academia and Ministry. He was a father of four and husband to Margaret Idahosa. Soul winning was his passion and he went to great lengths to achieve that by holding Crusades where many were saved, delivered and healed. According to his wife, he died on March 12, 1998 during a lunch meeting with a team from Oral Roberts University.
He was seen thanking the Lord and the team followed suit and it was in that moment that he passed on.
